DJ EARL GREY DJ Earl Grey (Nik T) is a Melbourne/Naarm-based DJ, curator and community builder whose approach to electronic music is guided as much by feeling as it is by selection. Effortlessly traversing ambient, dub, deep house, minimal, techno and leftfield club music, his sets are fluid, intuitive journeys that respond to the room rather than rigid genre boundaries. A respected fixture within Australia's underground electronic community, Earl Grey is the founder of Best Effort Records, an independent label dedicated to championing thoughtful, forward-thinking artists, while also hosting The Best Effort Show on Sky Lab Radio. His work reflects a deep commitment to creating spaces where music becomes a shared experience rather than simply entertainment. Alongside his partner Steph, Nik co-founded Tender in Brunswick, an architecturally designed listening space that has quickly become one of Melbourne's most unique cultural hubs. Blending high-fidelity listening sessions, live performances, yoga, movement practices and community gatherings, Tender embodies the same philosophy that underpins every Earl Grey set: slowing down, listening deeply and fostering genuine human connection through sound.
