SHANE ONE
(PillowTalk, Disco Knights, Songs for Lovers)
One of dance music’s most lively and eclectic artists, Shane’s low-slung blend of house and disco breathes new life into dance floors around the world. Whether playing keyboards with PillowTalk or DJing solo at coveted festivals like Houghton and Love International, Shane’s diverse musical roots and wide-ranging selections are always on display — weaving together soulful house, cosmic disco, and hypnotic late-night grooves at underground clubs and festivals worldwide.
Growing up in New York City as a youth in the Metropolitan Opera, Shane developed an early foundation in classical piano and music theory at the Manhattan School of Music while simultaneously immersing himself in hip-hop and R&B culture. After relocating to San Francisco, he sharpened his craft working at record stores like Housewares and developed a signature style rooted in seamless genre-blending, and the tension and release of the dance floor.
Today, Shane moves effortlessly between globally recognized venues and underground institutions alike, with appearances spanning Northern California’s Sunset Campout, SoHo House Amsterdam, London’s Ministry of Sound, and Disco Knights — one of Burning Man’s most iconic sound camps. Recent European appearances have included Kater Blau in Berlin and Amsterdam Pride, while back in the U.S. he continues to build community through Songs for Lovers, his monthly San Francisco party with longtime collaborator Alvaro Z.
Currently based in Brooklyn, Shane is back in the studio working on the next PillowTalk album, with new releases scheduled for Summer 2026.

JOSH DOUBLES
(Colorful Language, Sheik ‘n’ Beik, Groove Together resident)
In retrospect, it seems inevitable that Josh would end up in electronic music. At 8 years old, he bought his first record — a 45 of Sweet Dreams — and became obsessed with the hypnotic pull of synthesized basslines. Decades later, his DJ sets remain a genre-fluid exploration of house, disco, and techno, driven equally by rhythm, groove, and emotion.
Josh’s love of music led him to study guitar and trumpet, eventually playing in a funk band during college. Around the same time, he launched an electronic music radio show on 91.1 WSPN, while steadily building a record collection that would become the foundation of his sound. In 1997, a friend taught him how to beat-match and mix vinyl, and together they founded Triple X Music, producing large-scale warehouse raves throughout upstate New York.
After relocating to New York City in 2001, Josh reconnected with his college friend Tom, and the two launched Jetlag — a series of weekly outdoor daytime parties that began beneath the Williamsburg Bridge before moving to Bushwick. The duo also began producing house and techno together as Colorful Language.
As cofounder and resident DJ of Groove Together, Josh has helped define the sound and atmosphere of the events, often setting the tone with the opening set.
