Electric Lights /AV Live - DJ MELL G (DJ) & Katja Ruge (DJ)

Katja Ruge and DJ Mell G play the first Electric Lights edition at Planetarium Bochum on 28 October 2026. After editions in Hamburg and Berlin, the audiovisual series comes to Bochum for the first time. Electric Lights combines DJ and live sets in planetariums with immersive 360 degree projections, photography and contemporary electronic music. The project is rooted in a fascination with space, the cosmos and the big questions of origin, future and everything beyond our imagination. The series focuses on female artists and their perspectives within electronic music. Katja Ruge opens the evening with her own set, followed by Frankfurt based DJ Mell G. Previous invited artists include Helena Hauff, Lena Willikens, JakoJako, Akua, Cinthie and Joyce Muniz. The musical spectrum ranges from electro and techno to experimental and atmospheric approaches, reflecting the diversity of electronic music.
