Don't miss tonight - it's somehow the first time heavy hitters Bae Bae, DJ Noir, Boo Lean, and Spinorita share the decks on one lineup. DJ sets all night alongside archival video and party clips celebrating women and femme DJs, dancers, and organizers who continue to inspire them. See something that moves you? Join the floor, tell us why.
BAE BAE has risen to prominence within LA's underground music scene, organizing innovative communal spaces, including the notorious party HOOD RAVE. The LA native is driven by her commitment to creating safer party spaces for black and brown people, especially women and femmes. Her mixes race freely through techno, ghetto house, footwork, club and beyond, with her lifelong love of R&B never far from the surface. The intuitive selector's wide-ranging taste combined with a deft hand makes for sensual and emotional sure to get you on your feet and in your feelings. Her original music has been lauded by DJ Mag, Resident Advisor, Tidal, and BBC Radio, while her mixes have made “best of” lists on Pitchfork and Crack Magazine.
DJ Noir is a co-founder, DJ/producer, and co-curator of the international artist collective Juke Bounce Werk. Her sound defines past, present, and future incarnations of wide and subversive soundscapes. Her DJ sets are journeys through experimental eras that include but are not limited to: breaks, broken beat, electro, house, garage, dubstep, juke, footwork, jungle, and techno.
Boo Lean is a DJ, curator, and the Executive Director of dublab. Known for sidewinding sets, and at home in the low end, tonight she'll weave together dub, techno, jungle, heated steppers, mystery stems, and some polyrhythmic madness. Beyond the booth, she's shaped and championed independent music scenes by founding and directing festivals like VIA and New Forms, serving on the board of Resident Advisor, advocating for nightlife policy reform, and creating programs that bridge borders and disciplines.
Spiñorita is a genre-bending DJ whose sound is rooted in the pulse of ’90s LA and the communities that raised her. She came up where music and movement met—backyard parties, desert raves, and underground clubs—absorbing the raw energy of dance floors that felt like home. Her sets move like a memory and hit like a system test—blending Funk, Freestyle, Drum & Bass, Guaracha, House, Jersey Club, Acid, and more into something both nostalgic and forward-driving.
