Introducing DownLoad ~ Philly’s latest party for underground house and techno at Broad Hall in the historic Divine Lorraine Hotel. Expect 4 hours of groovy, pulsing, club-ready electronic music brought to you by 6 of the city’s emerging DJs. - Born in Philly but grew up right outside Baltimore, Danyuhlson discovered he loved live music at famed venue Merriweather Post Pavillion and knew he wanted to be apart of it all somehow but without being in the band. Going from intern at Echostage, to DJing treehouses back home and roofs at Temple, to kickstarting the return of DIY post lockdown, to becoming longstanding 48 Record Bar record butler - his bag of tricks is endless and always has something up his sleeve for any occasion as a jack of all sounds, ready to boot up and suit up. Jordan-Lee Landis is in a constant search for the ultimate groove. Whether it's disco, breaks, or electro, their intentional selections and unexpected mixes move people. RAIN is a Philadelphia-based DJ. His musical influences span across genres, thriving in deep grooves, latin and tribal rhythms and forward-thinking club tracks. DownLoad is the first of his efforts as an event organizer, with many more to come Self Talk found his identity playing sunset sets on the beaches of Thailand. His goal is to take listeners beyond just another DJ set and into an experience where they can truly feel something. diy ffs is a Philadelphia based multimedia artist, dj, and curator who blends a variety of sounds ranging from ballroom, house, and techno to create cathartic and immersive experiences for listeners to free themselves on the dancefloor. Soycupid is a DJ/Producer who is a student of black music in all of its iterations, finding a through line that takes listeners to the core. Whether playing classic garage house or hard hitting club, their selections are hypnotic, soulful, and raw. - DownLoad is an event founded on inclusivity and freedom of expression for all.
