Back by popular demand, Diva XR reunites at the beloved Marble Bar. Pride weekend in Detroit is a pivotal moment for both queer dance music crews XOXR (spearheaded by Garrison XR) and Divalocity (queer femme crew led by Amino & Duck Trash). This year, Diva XR will feature two influential figures from the Chicago scene: Disc Jacqui and LA SPACER, who lead a collective entitled TRQPITECA. Expect queer Latina house music, freak electro, Miami bass, & trance from this power couple. Also gracing the stage will be Alex Falk from Knoxville Tennessee. He is a prolific producer and an organizer of the DIY party series TEKNOX alongside the likes of Nikki Nair. According to the DJ Mag writeup about the mix he made for them, "Tough grooves tear at the seams of techno, house, breakbeat and ballroom, embodying the raw, unbridled energy of the rave." Support on this bill includes Simplicity, of the Headcleaner crew in Columbus, as well as local queer underground fave Simon Black.
