As Deep Excursions enters its 13th year, it’s an honour to welcome one of Detroit’s finest Marcellus "Malik" Pittman to People's Leisure Club for his long-overdue Edinburgh debut. As a member of the 3 Chairs collective alongside Theo Parrish, Moodymann and Rick Wilhite, Marcellus has helped shape the signature sound of Detroit and has been a cornerstone of the Motor City underground scene for the best part of three decades. An absolute master of his craft with a deep love for vinyl and unmatched energy, his extensive knowledge across genres & impeccable selections should make for something special in the intimate PLC basement.
