Crown Ruler & Tribe Sound System pres Ash Lauryn (US) & Zepherin Saint

Crown Ruler & Tribe Sound System return to the Thornbury Theatre with Ash Lauryn & Zepherin Saint. Making her long-awaited Australian debut, Detroit-born and Atlanta-based Ash Lauryn takes centre stage for an extended journey alongside Zepherin Saint, powered by the full Tribe Sound System. DJ, producer, curator, broadcaster and cultural voice, Ash has become one of the most vital figures of a new generation carrying the Black American roots of house and techno forward. At the heart of her work is Underground & Black - beginning as a personal blog before growing into an internationally respected NTS Radio show, event series and platform dedicated to the artists, communities and traditions at the foundation of dance music. Since her DJ debut in 2016, Ash has taken her deep, soulful approach around the world, with performances spanning London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Ibiza, New York, Tokyo, Milan and Lisbon. Her recorded work includes collaborations with Kai Alcé, Jimpster and Oveous, connecting her Detroit house roots with soulful spoken word and a deep respect for the lineage of the music. For this special Australian debut, Ash shares the booth with Zepherin Saint for an extended session inside the beautiful Thornbury Theatre, with the full Tribe Sound System operating at maximum pressure.
