We’re back September 5 at Duende! Chris Cruse is the founder of queer LA party-cum-record label Spotlight and part of the Club Toilet crew in Detroit. You know it when you hear him play: a chugging, infectious groove equally at home in dark warehouses and out in the sunshine. Chris is a regular at Panorama Bar, Basement, Power Dance Club, and Block9 at Glastonbury. He brings the spirit of the warehouse party he threw for a decade in Los Angeles, Spotlight: celebrating and reclaiming queer roots of house, techno, and underground dance music. TICKETS GO ON SALE MONDAY, AUGUST 24 AT NOON ET. Earlybird tickets are priced at $20, general admission tickets are $25, and last chance tickets are $30. There's a limited number of tickets available, and this will sell out. If ticket cost is a stretch for you right now, please send an email to buddybuddyparty@gmail.com and we can work something out. We can’t wait to see all of you! ••••• Buddy Buddy is a quarterly queer party that brings leading underground house and techno DJs to Buffalo for late nights and early mornings filled with dancing and good vibes. Come as you are, come to have fun! ••••• This is a party for queer WNY. It’s very important to us that you can come as you are and enjoy yourselves. In an effort to create a space where all feel safe and to foster the right vibe, a few policies for the evening: • We don’t tolerate any violence; non-consensual touching; racist, queerphobic, transphobic, sexist or other discriminatory language; or leering. If someone says or does anything to make you feel uncomfortable, please let our crew know. We’ll be posted on and around the dance floor wearing red bracelets. We can help you or find someone who can. • No pictures or videos—we want you to unplug, be present, let loose; nobody should have to worry about being documented. • Please leave any light-up or dancing equipment (i.e. poi balls, hula hoops, etc.) at home. Please try to keep conversation on the dancefloor to a minimum. There’s space off the floor to unwind and chat if you need a break. • Stay home if you're not feeling well.
