our flagship DIY event for techno music in the heart of honolulu is back at 3rd space. GOYA GIRL dives deep into the heart of classic rave sounds. BERCASI delivers proper techno, detroit 909s and chugging kicks. KITÚ looks into techno's deep history and synthesizes old school traxx with modern queer and latin frequencies. DEEPEND4EVER takes a left-field turn, eschewing traditional four-on-the-floor rhythms in favor of genre-defying electronica. bradley capello and other installation artists will be fully transforming the space into a proper rave setting. alec singer is wiring our sound system and controlling visuals, with maliē perry and shannon sonar contributing additional material. we're trying a few things differently this time, so stay tuned for the lounge area transformation—food, drinks, an art books and zine table, a shrine you can give an offering or two, and most importantly, a MINI ART SHOW featuring some very talented individuals whom we will reveal as the date nears. no phones or conversation on the dance floor. obviously, zero tolerance for harassment, racism, homophobia and/or transphobia. we welcome everyone who enjoys techno, but this is an event by and for queer locals, so come correct.
