BEECHY & FRIENDS welcomes Fairhurst to Freeze Hi-Fi for an all-vinyl Tuesday session of disco, boogie and soul. A Liverpool-based DJ, broadcaster and avid record collector, Fairhurst joins Beechy with selections spanning leftfield disco, jazz, broken beat, Afro, zouk and Italo. Expect hand-picked rarities from across the world, with disco, boogie and soul at the heart of the evening. His sets have taken him to We Out Here, Gottwood, Baltic Weekender, Meraki, Westival and Freight Island, with appearances on bills alongside Greg Wilson, Poly-Ritmo, Hunee and Palms Trax. His radio appearances include Melodic Distraction, Threads, Reform, BBC Radio Merseyside and BBC Radio Wales. Come down early and settle in for four hours of records, all played on vinyl.
