In a world that favours the temporary and immediate, longevity is hard fought. When we started this gathering a decade ago, there was no plan beyond providing a home for us and our family of weirdos to splash about in. After ten years there is still no plan, but as we’ve trundled along this mossy path, we have come to realise that this strange thing we’ve created has shaped our lives. And those moments of communal transcendence we’ve experienced provide us with the impetus to continue. Not just the party, but continue to live; to work shit jobs, to do the dishes, to send the email. They remind us that joy exists, and there is a better way. So eternal gratitude to all the folks who have sloshed about with us along the way, and thank you to The White Hotel, for allowing us to frolic around unhindered for so long. Joining us this time - Miki (Interactive Test) For this party, there couldn’t be a more appropriate guest than Miki. In our opinion, Miki is responsible for some of the most original and inspiring dance records ever written. His productions perfectly encapsulate everything we hold dear. They are full of emotion, driving and hypnotic, often wildly surprising and playful but at the same time totally capable of pulling a club apart at its seams. From his key role in the North Italian rave scene of the 90s (alongside Francesco Farfa and Roby J), Miki went on to release a number of mind bending records on the iconic Interactive Test, and later on DBX. In more recent years he has played alongside Aunty Jane Fitz, and released on Kalahari Oyster Cult. The 30+ years of experience in the dance music trenches is evident in Miki’s deep understanding of what moves people, both physically and emotionally. We have personally experienced some of our most cherished dance floor memories dancing to Miki’s records so we are deeply honored to host Miki for his Manchester debut. Benvenuti Miki <3 FROND To open up the club we are very pleased to welcome back FROND. Since her first mindblowing set for us, back in 2023, we have loved watching her career unfold. Her attentive ear for beautifully deep and trippy records is wholly unique, and there is a palpable sense of care that translates in her curation. Sophie is just as comfortable tunneling through peak energy as she is exploring the swampy lower tempos, so we are super excited to hear how she will facilitate those opening hours.
