ANX 006 — SEPTEMBER 18 For our sixth gathering, ANX takes another step forward. For the first time, we are handing over the entire Main Stage to visiting artists — three acts coming from Chicago, each bringing a different side of the city’s underground electronic music culture. At the center of the night is easygoingtech, a Chicago hardware duo operating at the intersection of techno, juke, IDM and Midwest dance music. With appearances across spaces like Smartbar and Empty Bottle and a strong connection to Chicago’s experimental and queer underground communities, their performance will also mark something new for us: the first live hardware set hosted at ANX, expanding what we’re able to bring into the space and onto our dance floor. Joining them is DJ One Track Mind, bringing an exclusive all-vinyl set, including records specifically collected for this night. Also from Chicago, OTIV — a Chilean-born DJ, producer and event organizer who has been part of the city’s techno scene for years. Coming from Indianapolis, SweaterDisco takes over closing duties. An Ableton-certified music production instructor, DJ and producer with a wide musical vocabulary, his sets move freely across styles while staying deeply rooted in dance music. We’re excited to have him leading the outdoor stage into its final stretch. Opening the day is Mami Mynx, local selector from Goshen, setting the first sounds of the night.
