From Alan... "Happy anniversary Two years ago today, I was in a bike accident that would change my life forever. I'll spare you the details but the accident left me paralyzed from the neck down. Since then it's been a really hard struggle as I fight to regain independence, for me and everyone around me. It definitely hasn't been easy. Nothing but a ton of bumps in the road. This has probably been one of the hardest, most depressing and difficult things I've ever had to deal with in my life, and I still have even harder challenges coming up. It's not all doom and gloom though! I've had a few really lucky things happen and more importantly, I realized that I have a support network that loves and cares about me and I should probably lean on, and contact a lot more! Your love and support means the world to me and helps me keep my head up as I go through this bullshit journey. There's nothing I can do to repay you. Never enough please's or thank you's.
