Celebrating its 20th anniversary, DoitJAZZ! presents SUNDAY NIGHT DANCE! AROOP ROY, a key figure from the UK who skillfully fuses electronic music with organic sounds that transcend borders, returns to DoitJAZZ!—a venue where he has performed numerous times in the past! He has established a solid global reputation with numerous standout performances at events such as We Out Here, Defected Croatia, and Southport Weekender. He has also signed with Kerri Chandler’s label “Kaoz Theory” and is set to produce remixes for numerous artists, including Basement Jaxx, Mr Scruff, and Marcos Valle. Additionally, through his own label “Vive La Musique,” he reissues and reworks rare, eclectic sounds gathered from around the globe. Spanning genres from house, garage, and techno to jazz, disco, and rhythms from all over the world, his sets feature DJ selections that have become staples across all scenes and generations.
