YR made in Nueva York, born in Brooklyn and raised in the “boogie-down-Bronx!” As a deejay played many tokyo venues and held many resident parties in nyc at almost every Major X-Icon Club. YR sounds are almost as “young" as his profile fotos! YR has also composed many fashion scores for runway shows, CM, and high-end fashion events. In the late 90’s YR worked at Throb Records, it’s eclectic underground sounds made his character, his edge, schooling, and background… YR is originally one half of “Height 611” and “Houz-town” who remixed many famous artist in the past and even now! Height 611 / Houz-town productions (Young Richard & The Late Peter A.) was a new version of hard house meets industrial sounds, and bass heavy kicks with subs that that filled all of the main rooms of the club scene. DJ’s like Danny and Junior played these tracks in their sets and floors! X-beat was a sound with the kick being 3/3 rather than the traditional 4/4 pattern. Artist like Dj Pierre, Wild Pitch, Felix Da Housecat, Gomi, Stephane K were all making the sound too. Height 611 tracks were released and license with the help of Johnny Vicious & our former Manager Aurelie Cotugno through out France and the UK! Our programmers and early music tech buddies included Hiroshi Watanabe, Syunji Moriwaki, Eddie Davis who are credited as programmers for most of our discography! Young Richard played in Club Matilda (Venice), toured France 4 times on radio shows like FJ, raves, Rex Club -Paris, The Queen -Paris, Lan-fer -Dijon.
