YGM

YGM is a Montréal-based collective built around a simple idea: music comes first. Since its beginnings, YGM has grown through a series of gatherings shaped by the spaces they inhabit — from intimate rooms and open-air parties to warehouses, extended sessions and unconventional locations. At the heart of each gathering is the dance floor. We focus on thoughtful curation, quality sound and giving artists the space to tell a story, bringing together local selectors and international guests while keeping a strong connection to Montréal’s underground community. There is no fixed formula. The setting can change, the scale can change, and the music can take different directions. What remains is the intention: creating spaces where people can lose themselves in the music and share something genuine together. Powered by music, shaped by the dance floor, carried by the people.
