Recycled Sound. Year 2.000. Chueca/Malasaña neighborhood. Founded by veteran Madrid promoter Ricky Blanco, Recycled Sound born as an organizing and production company specialising in electronic music events. From their office at the second floor of the building that housed the famous Fuencarral Market, the most alternative and urban shopping center that existed in Madrid, underground events were created full of magic, programming national and international artists who at that time already stood out in the rest of Europe and the U.S.. Recycled Sound promoted, through the events artists from different musical genres that in those years were timidly emerging in the clubbing scene, such as Drum & Bass, IDM, Electro or more experimental sounds, always under the common thread of Techno. In the events there was room for internationally acclaimed artists and served as a platform for international promotion of emerging national artists. Artists like Oscar Mulero, Surgeon, Dave Clarke, Sven Vath, Andy C, Dj Qbert, Tiga... are some of the hundreds of names of artists who have passed through the events organised and produced by Recycled Sound. The logo of Recycled Sound, was designed by the creative studio Ipsum Planet following the idea of transmitting, without making any reference to past times, the update and constant search for the new, leaving this idea perfectly embodied in the isotype of the 3 arrows.
