TRQPITECA is a Chicago-based DJ/artist-duo and production company presenting unique and inclusive experiences that celebrate diverse communities through dance music and art. TRQPITECA has been featured on Boiler Room TV and has held residencies at Lumpen Radio and smartbar Chicago. As DJs our styles range from techno & bass breaks, tropical house and global bass, trippy acid & trance, and high BPM jungle & juke. Founded by DJs, artists, and producers La Spacer & CQQCHiFRUIT in 2015, TRQPITECA has produced and curated countless events ranging from DIY queer art and music parties to large public festivals featuring over 350 DJs, musicians, performance artists, visual artists, and designers from Chicago and around the world. TRQPITECA brings people together across generations, cultural backgrounds, and identities to experience house, techno, and underground dance music and art as powerful forms of activism that celebrate individuality, self-determination, and self-expression.
