THROTTLE THURSDAYS - Techno in the big room at 1015 Folsom. WE ARE NOT PLAYING GAMES. Our team -- industry veterans using their experience, trusted followings and creative musical direction to take techno in San Francisco to a new level, booking the world's most innovative techno acts and pairing them with high caliber local talent. Historically San Francisco has been a creative brewing pot for many of music's greatest, spanning a wide variety of genres, and now that it's made a global mark on the map of techno, Throttle is taking things up to the next level. The highly acclaimed event series debuted in 2024 and has already featured official SF debuts and return appearances by artists like Nico Moreno, Oguz, Tommy Four Seven, Fatima Hajji, Lilly Palmer, Kobosil, Trym, Partiboi69 & Kettama (Ketboi69). The 1 year anniversary party in Feb 2025 marked a pivotal moment for the event when it hosted the legendary Jeff Mills for our techno hungry SF community. What's to come? Everything from the mind-melting, trippy, underground, to the big stompers we all crave. The community has been begging for more techno, and so the community will get what it asked for -- PURE HEAT.
