Outside the BigMac

“Rents are rising, freaks have to leave, Berlin is dying.” Every day, the city looks more and more like the same homogenized urban landscape you see in Bangkok, New York, London, Paris, or Liverpool. Every day, it looks more and more like a Big Mac. Outside the BigMac is a series of mini-festivals that celebrates the carnival of the outsiders, the unadapted, the different. It strengthens the networks of those working in Berlin who make slightly unusual Pop-Music that resonates with Berlin's cultural history. Curated by Manu Louis and Ned Stuart-Smith, both of whom are also active Berlin based musicians.
