Osos Discos

Osos Discos is the Philadelphia DJ duo of Cameron Kelly and Marshall Guthrie — husbands, business partners, and lifelong devotees of the dance floor. Their sets live where disco, soulful house and jacking Chicago grooves meet: warm, joyful, and built for bodies of every shape to move freely. Cameron has been behind the decks since the mid-1990s, when he came up in New Orleans and founded Kinetic Productions, bringing house music’s heavy hitters to the city. In the years since, he has played across more than 25 states, held residencies in New Orleans, Kansas City and Philadelphia, and shared bills with the likes of Derrick Carter, Roland Clark, Terry Mullan and Sunshine Jones. Together with Marshall, that history becomes something new — a back-and-forth conversation between two selectors who know exactly where the other is going. In Philadelphia, Osos Discos are the force behind The Fishbowl Project, an all-vinyl, body-positive disco party, and ReVibe. Recent highlights include a set at Club Angeloni’s Madrid in Atlantic City and an appearance on WKDU 91.7FM’s Freak Flag. Rooted in the spirit of Frankie Knuckles, Larry Levan and David Mancuso, every Osos Discos night comes back to one idea: radical hospitality — love and respect for everyone on the floor, no exceptions.
