Opera Festival is a festival of music and arts taking place in Milo, under the Eastern slopes of the Etna Volcano, where the Maestro Franco Battiato spent more than half of his life.
Opera Festival draws inspiration from the natural elements of the Etna Volcano and takes place in a magic site suspended between land and sea.
The festival aims to celebrate music and arts through research, promotion and the enhancement of the whole area.
At the same time, it offers a wide music selection ranging from experimental pop and traditional sounds from the local music scene.
Its program features also lectures, workshops, outdoor activities, wine tasting and site-specific musical performances.
