WHOMP, born on Hackney’s canals in June 2021, has evolved into an underground music event with a powerful charitable mission: Keep Dancing to Change Lives. In over 15 events, the intimate party and now a mix series, has raised £14K for various causes including the wars in Palestine and Ukraine as well as sponsoring underprivileged kids to go to school in Nepal. Immersed in smoke and minimalist lighting design, WHOMP’s diverse and dedicated community hears progressive, psychedelic, trance and techy sounds whilst 100% of the profit goes to charity.
