Founded in 2000 in Montreal, Canada, MUTEK supports the discovery and growth of talented individuals in the arts, fostering innovative ideas and content creation while providing a platform for free and experimental artistic expression. MUTEK has expanded globally, hosting festivals in Montreal, Mexico City, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Dubai, Santiago de Chile, and Tokyo. As the sole Asian edition, MUTEK.JP was established in 2016 in Japan, offering a wide range of unique programs, including audiovisual showcases, conferences, workshops, and exhibitions.
