Musicology is a project that has been active for over 13 years between Naples and the Vesuvius area, created to connect music and territory through unique, site-specific events. Over the years, it has hosted leading names from both the Italian and international scenes, spanning live shows, club culture, and urban music. For Spring/Summer 2025, Musicology returns with a new series of events on Mount Vesuvius, set in the stunning natural surroundings of Cratere Way Up. These gatherings will merge sound and landscape, featuring electronic sets, special performances, and outstanding guests—designed to enhance the volcanic scenery with a contemporary musical experience. Musicology is where the identity of the land meets the sound of now.
