Mahragan Party is a Queer/Trans Araby-forward party series that amplifies sounds from the global south, in the center of Los Angeles. The series started in January 2025 from within LA's QTBIPOC nightlife scene, and since its launch it has carved a crucial sonic home for the MENA region’s underground party subculture to flourish in diaspora. The series embraces the spirit of high-energy Arabic shaaby block parties, the popular music genres that accompany them, and the visual identities of Arab street culture. Mahragan party cements this sound and the artists who bring it to life as an integral subculture in LA's vibrant music landscape.
