Mariana Duarte Silva is Portuguese and lived in London for the past 3 years. Working as manager for Stereo Addiction, Rui da Silva, Heartbreakerz and Twofold (aka Monosketch) and involved in promoting nights in some of the most exciting venues in London at the moment like Plastic People, Cargo, Sketch and Notting Hill Arts Club. In London she quickly found opportunities to work as a promoter and in partnership with other like-minded individuals creating events beyond music. She was invited to be part of the programming of the concerts for Atlantic Waves Festival and she also organises the infamous "O Baile" events in London & Lisbon, with her partner Joana Seguro, showcasing the best in portuguese and international talent. Mariana is also a freelance consultant at www.citizensound.net where she is in charge of sonic branding and musical marketing for various bands and brands. In parallel to all this, she is also organizing events in both London and Lisbon working on developing a regular presence by partnering British artists with Portuguese.
