THE LEGACY Nestled in the Balearic archipelago, the Island of Ibiza has been for decades the mecca for music enthusiasts and clubbers. From the mid 90's to the mid 2000's, IBIZA RECORDS played an important role on the Island both as a record label and as an event organiser. During the golden days of Ibiza House Music and Vinyl Records, IBIZA RECORDS' founder Jan organised parties, managed events, and performed as a DJ himself. In 1998 he invented the music industry event "Ibiza Club Convention". Its home-base was the now defunct Club Punta Arabi, alongside the famous Hippy Market. The event took place once every year and brought together DJs, producers, labels and music industry professionals from around the globe. Convention Parties took place in PACHA, SPACE, EL DIVINO, CAFÉ DEL MAR and CLUB PUNTA ARABI. NEW CHAPTER In 2022, after a long break, Jan (the original founder) together with his son Calvin finally breathed new life into IBIZA RECORDS. During the summer months both are now hopping back and forth between Ibiza and Tenerife. They've now also started travelling all around Europe to perform their DJ gigs. Off-season they are spending a lot of time in sunny Tenerife as well as playing exclusive Vinyl DJ Sets around the globe. VIRAL INTERNET SENSATION 1.6 MILLON ENTHUSIASTIC FOLLOWERS on Tiktok, Instagram and Youtube With a renewed focus on DJ'ing, social media and music/event promotion, Jan and Calvin, better known as the IBIZA RECORDS DJ TEAM, started late 2022 releasing content on social media and they are going "viral" all the time. In less than 2 years they made the unthinkable happen and reached more than 1.6 Million followers.
