Hyper Berlin is a link of friends connecting people on- and offline through a shared love of hyperpop. With deepening friendships and internet connections, Hyper Berlin is a practice of intimacy and a simultaneous exploration of the sounds and aesthetics of hyperpop, internet, and poetry. Run through an open Discord-server, Hyper Berlin organises events, exhibitions, free workshops, and radio shows – such as their hyperpop poetry show “Objects of Hyperdreams,” broadcasted live from Refuge Worldwide. Most recently, Hyper Berlin participated in the CTM Vorspiel and created a Discord-performance for the opening in Silent Green, hosted a three-day exhibition and afterparty at Projektraum H48, and a QT CHAOS club night filled with hyperpop, poetry, and performances in Melbourne.
