Greenlight

Greenlight is a Croatian collective and events platform built around house, electro, techno, and everything adjacent, run by five residents: Grenco, Andreas, Ian Staraj, Andrija Mlacović, and Ivan Erjavac, who handle bookings, production, and design in-house. For Greenlight, clubbing is treated as a feeling rather than a fixed genre or venue, a mission that keeps the lineup moving fluidly across styles instead of settling into one sound. Founded in 2022 in Gorski Kotar, the collective built its identity around a signature environmental design language: dense, glowing green plant installations that turn each venue into a distinct physical space rather than a backdrop. That approach reached its clearest form at Pogon Kulture with their 360° concept, staging the DJ booth at the center of the floor with the crowd surrounding it on all sides. Greenlight holds a residency at Masters (Zagreb) and returns each year to Love International (Tisno) for a stage takeover. At their events they have hosted guests Per Hammar, Kepler, Amaliah, Abdul Raeva, Andy Luff, Kassian, AR:TE, and many more local/regional names. In 2023 the collective received the Ambasador Award for Croatia's Collective of the Year, recognition that has carried beyond Croatia's borders, with the residents also playing across the Balkan region. Greenlight's reach extends past events: a recurring vinyl fair connects Rijeka's record-digging community across generations, a YouTube set series documents its residents against the Croatian landscape, and Badger, the collective's own web app for digging deeper into Bandcamp, carries that same design and community-building instinct into a digital tool for DJs and collectors.
