Fukhouse
Info
Regularly importing acclaimed international guests such as Steve Bug, Rob Hood, Tiga, Aril Brikha, Matthew Dear, Jesper Dahlback, Dan Curtin and Woody McBride, Fukhouse has been holding it down in Toronto's underground techno scene for over a decade.
Throwing one-off parties with the seminal early-1990s promotional organization, Transcendence led to a two-year stint hosting a monthly Fukhouse night at the legendary Industry Nightclub.
When Industry finally closed its doors, Fukhouse moved to the mighty System Soundbar where it had a fantastic two-year run, followed by two quality years at Footwork, one of the few clubs left in Toronto that remains committed to the underground.
For the past year, Fukhouse has gotten intimate with Fukhouse Compressed, a free weekly that usually focuses on residents and locals, but has played host to the likes of Daniel Bell, Jeff Milligan, Akiko Kiyama, Frivolous and Pan/Tone.
Most recently, we collaborated with Alieninflux and Promise to bring in the Junior Boys, Derek Plaslaiko and Bluetech, among others for a classic studio jam.
