Complexity is dedicated to showcasing turntablism in underground dance music. It’s born out of the belief that there is something special that happens between DJ and audience when the DJ has a tactile relationship with the music being played. With no loops or sync button, there is continually needed presence and focus, which creates an indescribable flow state of groove. Each record is carefully selected for its quality and ability to suit the mixing artform in a club environment. We believe vinyl, as a DJ’ing format, is timeless and humane. We’re taking what we’ve learned from history, from our heroes, pioneers who led the charge into the world of electronic sound and applying it in the modern era. We focus on techno but also elevate other sub-genres as well.
