CASA DAO is a ‘third space redefined’, operating as a progressive electronic nightclub & ‘afterhours sanctuary’ on weekends, with a focus on being a platform to showcase the city’s talented local, or Hong Kong-based DJs creating a sonic soundscape ranging from House & Tech House, often creating collabs with the city’s DJ collectives, booking agencies, and event organisers. It features a ‘Main Room’, a cosy connected area housing its bar, complemented with minimal banquette-style lounge vibe décor, as well as two small flex rooms. DAO is counted as one of the few alternative venues in Hong Kong and is noted for its support of the city’s subculture scene, including the BDSM & LGBTQIA+ scene, and ‘throwing good parties ft. the occasional regional talent, attracting a diverse and open community on weekends!
