Bare Selection is an independent label run by two staples of Toronto’s music scene, Freeza Chin and Jayemkayem. A DJ, engineer and producer, Freeza Chin is respected as one of the strongest ambassadors of UK music in Canada and founded Bare Selection as a way to further bridge the music scenes of the two cities he loves. Jayemkayem brings a background in marketing, PR, brand partnership and event production to the imprint, as well as her extensive curatory resume programming for such brands as Nike, Red Bull, Serato, and others. Since launching in 2018, Bare Selection has released with such acts as Flowdan, Tre Mission, Manga Saint Hilare, MoreNight, Lijah, and others.
