Baile Ijó, a literal translation of dance dance in Spanish and Yoruba. Dance is a big part of our cultures, with the founding members being of Nigerian and Colombian descent respectively and the music we play is a reflection of that, playing afrobeats, reggaeton, dembow, amapiano, baile funk and the list goes on...We all share a passion for music and the way it brings communities together, which is signified by the mix of Yoruba and Spanish. We’ve been moved by the ability of music to get people dancing and how it brings different cultures together. This is something we wanted to celebrate through ‘Baile Ijó’.
