Inspired by the song “Go Bang” from Arthur Russel’s band Dinosaur L, Baang pays tribute to the essencial legacy of House and Disco legends like David Mancuso, Larry levan or Ron Hardy. It’s a tribute to the way they understood music in iconic venues such as Paradise Garage, The Loft or Muzic Box, a tribute to their values, it’s a safe space where to celebrate life, freedom of expression, love, gender equality as well as cultural and philosophical diversity, while at the same time a place where to enjoy performances from Dj’s and selectors with unique backgrounds. Both local and international acts will be performing long hours of music in which House, Disco, Soul and boogie will be the main players.
