Although new on the scene, Zya is stepping shy but devoted to the world she is exploring for half of her lifetime, starting as a listener and clubber, then “bedroom DJ”, and recently breaking the ice as a new figure in the DJ scene, since 2019. Born and raised in Romania, she lives for several years in Bucharest. The deep and true passion for music somehow draws the path by guiding her closer and closer to the next phase of her career as a DJ. She is describing herself as more like “a curious and exploratory digger” than a DJ, and this guarantees you a very interesting journey each time you get the chance to embark on the trip. From sharp sounds to groovy house rhythms, from trippy to energizing techno, you will feel an instant connection with the message she is sending through music. The previous appearances, although not so numerous, are quite notable performances alongside big local Romanian or international artists in clubs or fests in Romania.
