Behind the name Zoumer is singer and producer Yasmina Derradj, whose universe moves through energetic alternative pop, filtered through punk, breakbeats, and the Algerian protest genre raï. The project represents wildness and liberating energy – a playful exploration of freedom and self-expression, where not fitting in is transformed into total liberation. ⁠ ⁠ In just a year and a half, Zoumer has graced the country's festivals and garnered praise in publications such as GAFFA, Politiken, Undertoner, and Passive//Aggressive, both for her playful and energetic live shows and her debut album "Green World".
