Zola (formerly known as Kika) jumped feet first into Toronto's electronic music scene in 2016 and quickly became an avid supporter of its local and underground community. After immersing herself in a variety of music genres on many dance floors, her curiosity about the transportive power of music led her to move behind the decks. Zola has held DJ residencies in Toronto with Architextures, Lossless and currently, Technoir Collective. You can find her spinning her high-octane blends of techno, house, dance, electro and bass at community favorites like I Love Promise, Department of Civilian Dance (DOCD), the Geary Art Crawl, and some of Toronto’s most well-loved clubs like Sub Division, Vertigo and Comfort Zone as well festivals, Bloom, Lumaterra and Electric Island. Zola also promotes events under the Thoughtful Revolutions Music, having recently launched the series, Shadow Werk.
