zicke kuh

alice laborde-maisonnave, aka zicke kuh behind the decks, is a french berlin-based eclectic artist, founder of kühnheit studio, and co-founder of lakass collective, platforms that brings together her passion for all forms of art. as an artist, she seeks to reclaim codes that are often perceived as demeaning to women, regardless of their field. her work asserts that it is possible to be unapologetically sexy while remaining creative, intelligent, and in control. influenced by techno, hardgroove, acid, trance, hardbounce, baile funk, and bouyon, her sound is everything you need to shake your ass when you like it deep, raw, and hot. by blending sounds and genres into moments of pure expression, she finds a genuine sense of freedom, one she seeks to transmit directly onto the dancefloor.
