In 2020, the health crisis and successive confinements triggered a change in him, prompting him to take the plunge and start mixing. Self-taught, he refined his tastes and technique, performing in many of Rennes' clubs and bars. Attracted by minimal house and deep techno - genres with pared-down sounds and hypnotic atmospheres - ZANIT has over the years developed his own style based on "bounce", which he defines as a track's ability to draw listeners into a rhythmic, unbridled spiral. After playing major local and regional clubs, sharing the booth with renowned artists such as Shonky, Less Distress and Den Haas, ZANIT quickly built up a loyal subscriber base. His watchword: sharing. As he puts it so well, "there's nothing more satisfying than generating emotions through sound". Rarely prepared in advance, his energetic, catchy sets are built as he goes along, fueled by an immutable need to feel the vibe emanating from the dancefloor before each transition.
