Yochanan is a NYC-based DJ and collector. His sound ranges from minimal to atmospheric textures, characterized by steady basslines. His journey into electronic music began in the trance scene at the age of 15, where he was captivated by the ability of sound to shift and move spaces and environments. Since then, his passion has grown, drawing inspiration from the well-known Temple of Sound, “The Block Club,” which hosted Romanian artists weekly, and from several trips to Sunwaves Festival in Romania. At 22, he started to mix vinyl, which became his foundation and technical approach to DJing — though always flow-driven. He has played at various venues around NYC, including clubs such as H0L0, Mansions, Earthly Delights, TBA Brooklyn, and The Lot Radio, and has traveled with his records to Sunday Sessions LA, Sojourn Boston, Bloop London, Munich, and more.
