YESH (Contrast Radio, Yammat FM / CRO) In 2005., Marko Ješovnik aka Yesh founded a DJ collective with his friends and music enthusiasts called Jabba Crew and has been organizing a club night "JabbaTon" in KSET, a legendary Zagreb nightclub for 10 years straigt when JabbaTon retired as a club night. He’s one of the most active promoters in the region so in October 2009. he also started a still ongoing Croatian edition of London's "Chew the Fat!" club night. Yesh likes to keep himself busy, so when he's not DJ-ing in clubs he brings music to people's home so he has his own Contrast Radio show at Zagreb finest FM radio station Yammat FM. In the end of 2012. he started a record label JabbaTon Records dedicated in promotion of bass/hip hop music and released tracks for infamous UK underground artists like P Money, Footsie (Newham Generals) and Killa P (Roll Deep), but also some local bass heroes Billain, Diyala and Filip Motovunski. In 2014. Yesh was a member of the Croatian Burn residency competition jury, he became a program manager and a resident DJ in club Deep located at Zrće beach on the island of Pag, and started a new clubnight named Casa dedicated to house, disco & techno. He also started to work with the best Croatian underground female MC and vocalist Diyala as her official DJ. He has performed at all the major festivals in the region such as Sonus, EXIT, Ultra Europe, Outlook, Hideout, Fresh Island, Springfestival Graz, Terraneo, Seasplash etc., and shared the stage with names like Jessie Ware, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Skepta, Erol Alkan, Jack Beats, Friction, Redlight, Gorgon City, Coldcut, DJ Craze, Krafty Kuts, Marky, Plastician, Sigma, Noisia, Goldie, Foreign Beggars, JME, P Money, Newham Generals and many others. Yesh keeps promoting cutting edge club music through all of his numerous projects for over a decade so we can freely say he is one of the leading figures of the Croatian club scene.
