Yamila, an Argentinian girl raised in Italy, since her childhood grew up exploring different musical styles, ranging from South American tribal rhythms and percussions to progressive rock synths, and the basslines and dreamy sounds from alternative and electronic music. Singing in a choir for over ten years, she became passionate about singing and choral vocals, which have now become a fundamental part of her techno sets. In 2013 she moved to Berlin for a few years and there she discovered and deepened her love for clubbing culture, experiencing the emotional and social power of techno music. Back in Italy she gets involved in the organisation of electronic music events and approaches the study of mixing, starting to play for small venues in and around Milan. In September 2021 she became Resident DJ at the Closer party in Milan based in Masada and Amelia, where she had the opportunity to play with artists such as Mark Broom, Rene Wise, The Lady Machine, Mama Snake, Francois X, Blasha & Allat, Chlär and others.
