Xwnia fell in love with electronic music at the age of xiv years, Born & raised in México, she has developed and exquisite taste in music influenced by different cultures, London, Chicago & French house are part of her taste. She start learning to dj on the summer of 2011 when she was in London. The diversity of house music describe her the best from Old school house to disco, 90’s to Jazzcid, House, & Acid house, Defined herself as Disco-ish and lately into minimal groove. Resulting in sensual sounds in between the saxophone, vocals, and synths that exudes feminine sensuality in the dance floor. Spinning records, crossing genres in her sophisticate essence mixing her own style and her obsession with early House Music genre, she has found a way to blend all of her passions, while her sets generate a smile and playful energy that she shares with everybody on the dance floor. When she isn’t seaside, Xwnia is most probably sifting through a record store somewhere in the world to add to her growing collection, she has played on the coolest clubs & parties around Mexico and New York, sharing decks with djs like Dj Tennis, Dewalta, Francesca Lombardo, tINI & the gang, Lamache etc. She got her first residency at Casa Morelos, Mty & now you can find her at Nana Rooftop.
