The Houson native blazed trails for others like herself curating a collective of creatives and djs known as "FKA" or Hyperpop Palace, which was at one point the only queer/non conforming space in Houston: showcased at SXSW in 2023 as official artists. Since shifting culture and rooting herself in her hometown, XOY has been nominated for awards in OutSmart magazine and notarized as one of the most influential Trans artists and curators in the state of Texas.
