A Chicano Chicagoan, I grew up with a Southside heritage playing the sounds of my city blending jazz and funk rhythms over bumpin' house beats. This is the way of the classic DJ style true to my heart; mixing hard techno elements with instrumental disco grooves, featuring soulful vocals to chant. Playing through an intuition of sound, vibe, and passion, to mix differently and sonically through a style derivative of early Midwest raves. Bridging the gap between classic and modern day electronic music, intent to keep the funky house vibe alive through positivity, inclusivity, and love on today’s dance floors. Established as a fixture of the Chicago House Music community for almost 2 decades. A skilled technical DJ that can play both digital and vinyl with ease, and performing since 2006. "Wyser" has made early strides with Custom Vibes promotions, as well as the myriad number of residencies I've been awarded throughout the years. Most notably my works as the Redux DJs with Blender at Berlin Nightclub, Disco at Celeste, Game Over at Replay Boystown, and Space Disco on WNUR 89.3FM. Most recently I've been involved with Chicago’s multimedia project, Shfft, as director of design and visual art, as well as writer of Shfft’s debut single ‘Robot Voice" with remix by Garrett David along with forthcoming releases on Cheap Talk Records. Involved with other artistic direction as founding member of the underground art collective Makeshift Art Club in Logan Square. Forging and producing surreal sound-scapes, I love collaborating on events varying across the board of a/v, art, fashion, and design in nightlife. Staying true to my roots, and gaining the pleasure of working any crowd to see them moving to the beat. One World, One Love, One House.
