WtNY's obsession with underground dance and electronic music shines through in every DJ set and event, always connecting with dance floors and people. While known primarily as a House and Tech-House DJ, his sound defies strict genre labels, drawing on Classic Rock, Funk, Soul, Jazz, Disco and Hip-Hop influences. His early years revolved around basketball and Hip-Hop before he delved into education, rave promotion, and vinyl collecting. This journey has shaped his unique sound, rich with funk, bass, and percussive elements from the 80s and 90s Hip-Hop, Funk, and House scenes. WtNY’s DJ roots are deeply embedded in the House and Techno origins of Toronto, London, Detroit, New York, and Chicago. He spent formative years in Toronto's vibrant 90s scene, mingling in warehouse raves and Industry Nightclubs with key figures of the underground dance music culture. His path then led to London, where he worked with MN2S (Milk n 2 Sugars), promoting the music and culture that fuels his life and global travels still to this day. Renowned for his world-class ear for sound and samples, and his charm and timely humor, WtNY is a pleasure to collaborate with. From Caribbean beach sunsets to Techno warehouses in Colombia, all-vinyl sets in the UK, or sunrise sets in Black Rock City, he knows just what to play, and when, for every crowd and party! His appearances at Burning Man have seen him sharing stages with the Acid Mondays, DJ Three, Francesca Lombardo, John Acquaviva, Nick Warren, and Hernán Cattáneo. At the Vujaday Music Festival in Barbados, he has performed alongside Bedouin, Lee Burridge, and DJ Tennis. Those bookings and experiences paved the way for him to DJ at multiple DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs, including; the HOUSE OF YES in New York City, USA with Guy Mantzur; CODA in Toronto, Canada with Dennis Cruz, and Desert Hearts Mikey Lion & Lee Reynolds; AVALON in Los Angeles, USA with Nick Warren and Öona Dahl; BAUM in Bogota, Columbia with Joseph Capriati; and a 3 hour opening set, for a sold out show with Little Louie Vega at FLASH Nightclub in Washington DC, USA.
