Woodseye
Biografía
Originally from the border city of El Paso and now rooted in East LA, his journey into music was shaped by years of filming shows, making music videos, and capturing images for collectives and artists in Los Angeles.
Consistently Immersed in the creative process, he found himself at a crossroads—balancing visual storytelling with a growing passion for DJing. This transition led him to explore music production as a form of expression. Though relatively new to music production, Woodseye has quickly gained respect as an emerging talent in the Los Angeles music scene. In the UK his music is popping up on platforms like Subtle Radio. His track ‘Argentina’ was featured in Lake Hills’ set for the TWTW LDN x Subtle Radio Showcase, while ‘Gastank’ was played during Bentaki’s monthly residency on Subtle Radio.
Beyond production, Woodseye is an active voice in social justice, advocating for immigrant rights and systemic change through his work with the Centro CSO. With a background in law and society, his music serves as both a cultural reclamation and a medium for resistance amplifying the narratives of those who exist between borders and societal labels.
